We are pleased to announce the Knopman Financial Training University Outreach Program, an initiative aimed at delivering Knopman’s expertise to students preparing for financial industry careers that require the successful passing of FINRA exams like the Series 7, 63 and 79. The program recently launched with two live “Best Practices for FINRA Exam Prep” webinar discussions.
These complimentary sessions were hosted by Knopman Financial Training Founder and President Harvey Knopman and Senior Managing Director Brian Marks. With a combined 50 years of financial training experience, Knopman and Marks have trained over 125,000 individuals for FINRA’s various exams.
Topics for successful FINRA exam preparation discussed included:
- General FINRA exam information
- Overview of Series 7, 63 and 79 exams
- Recommended study guidelines
- Study tips and best practices
“Students rightly focus on the school work, interviews and internships necessary to land investment banking, wealth management and other financial jobs, yet successfully passing the required FINRA exams is also a must in order to have a career in this space,” explains Knopman. “We at Knopman Financial Training have traditionally only come into contact with recent college graduates once they have started at their news firms. However, we have found that there is strong interest from current university students for information and best practices as it relates to FINRA exam prep that we are well-equipped to address.”
According to Marks, “When it comes to the Knopman Financial Training University Outreach Program, our recent webinars are just the start. Our goal is to further improve our format and develop school-customized programs and “must know” content specific to upperclassman and lowerclassman. Known for our above-industry average pass rates, education is the foundation of our work and we are eager to do our best for the next generation of financial professionals.”
